The Lanning Family is taking their show on the road! We have so many mixed feelings about our move. Sad to be leaving loved ones. Excited about seeing new things. Happy about making new friends. Scared about being away from everything we ever knew. Content to finally be closer to one another.
These past several months have been extremely difficult as David has been in Oman and Egypt and the rest of us have been here in Texas. All parties involved have had seperation anxiety to the extreme! This has probably affected Parker the most. David just came home for a week long visit. It was wonderful, but really short and reminded us of how very much we need him! Parker had an emotional breakdown when we dropped Daddy off at the airport and cried for a really long time. Our family needs to be together - or at least driving distance apart.
So - we are creating this blog so our friends and family can check in from time to time and see where our new adventures take us.
Let the countdown begin!
