Ah yes, ah no, ah FIDDLESTICKS!

This is one of my favorite lines from the Music Man. I love hearing it everynight as Mrs. Paroo spoke to Marion about making decisions.

Well, right now I want to scream that line at the top of my lungs to the world...and add a footstamp at the end for emphasis!

So, first my husband pleads to go to Qatar so that he can see his family everyday. He is given a resounding NO! They compromise and decide to send him to Oman for 9 months (family split) but then to Dubai where he can see his family everyday. This sounds like a reasonable plan. I like it. We go through the process of getting our children enrolled in school, etc. then David gets a phone call. Qatar seems to be available...maybe. 75%. Less than 3 weeks from the moving date and start of school. Could we possibly ever get a school spot in Qatar with such little time? Not likely. What is going on right now? I haven't got a clue.
But this is how I feel:

It only gets better...we are having issues getting our children passports. I cannot even get into that right now or we might have national security issues because the language I use will be so strong and loud that the entire national passport crew will suffer hearing damage. Let me just say, don't have an alternative way of applying for passports if you are not willing to use it...idiots.

On a positive note...we survived the tropical storm Edouard brilliantly. Completely unscathed. I feel like a new woman. A protector...very primal, strong and powerful. RAWR!!!! When the winds picked up....who went outside to bring in the three trashcans? ME! Who chose to bring in the wheelbarrow? ME! Who tried to get the waterhose from the front yard inside...only to discover that I had parked the car on top of it? ME! uh, me. Who couldn't find the keys and left the front door open? ME! me. But after a mad search I found those keys! Moved the car. Bundled up the waterhose and sprinkler and saved them from an unknown fate! ME ME ME! And even though all of my clothes were soaked through...it didn't matter. I was able to save the trash cans, water hose, sprinkler and wheelbarrow.
