Qtel Ad

So...the makeup artist thing....I'm so lucky to have gotten the opportunity to work on a national campaign for a major phone company. This was a very important client for the ad agency, and they asked me to do the makeup for these 3 ads right before we left for Egypt.

When I returned these were EVERYWHERE! I couldn't be more delighted with how the makeup turned out. Although, the director asked that the girls skin be darker. I darkened it several shades, but in the photo I can't really tell that I did. So...I'm not really satisfied with that aspect of the project. I'm not sure if they went in and lightened it...or if I just misread the lighting. I don't think they touched up anything though because there appears to be no airbrushing when I look at the really huge signs.

I didn't know you did those ads! That is so awesome. I remember the stories, but I didn't know it was for these posters. I always feel sad when I see that poor Indian laborer. It assumes that he has no peace in Qatar, but that peace is just a phone call away. It is so Middle East....
