Dear Mr. Testosterone driver...
I don't appreciate how you rode my bumper, sped around me and then decided that I was nice to look at. I hope I proved to you that I can outmanuever you any day. Even in my ugly prado I can outdrive your black Jeep Wrangler license plate number 3637...and I did. I went around you - and you chased. Did you really think that I was going to show you where I lived? I'm not that stupid. My little brake check apparently upset you because you got even more aggressive. I don't recommend following me again, the next time you will find yourself at a police station...it is a good thing you lost me. Perhaps you like these kinds of games, but they can quickly turn dangerous. Which is why I am NOT withholding your information. I am a better driver, smarter and I don't play.
Yes, I am angry.
This was for about 10 minutes on my way home from the grocery store.

uh... I am sorry?
j/k I am not even in the same country (in Qatar right now).
Funny post.
Jerk. I don't get why they do this crap at all here. It's scary and one freaking wrong move could cost someone their life (god forbid).
I'm glad you got home safe.
Way to go Amber :)
What a jerk that guy was. Next time don't even mess around - straight to the cop shop!
MMK080 - we need to talk...I'll be moving to qatar soon and have some questions. Actually, I'll just ask them...what is the difference between the compound Al Fardan 3 and 4? I'm not there right now and my husband is about to pick...so if you know, do tell!
L - no kidding! Right? I had to take it through a neighborhood to shake this loser...I stayed away from areas that I knew children regularly played...I was really worried. It was insane. Truly a high speed chase. I kept thinking - if I don't run he won't chase...but then he would just get close up on my bumper - which was why I did a brake check and then gased it as he swerved into the other lane to avoid hitting me...it was that intense.
Sythe - I know! First order of business - locate a police station...teehee. That is where I would have gone had I known where one was and I was too busy focusing on driving to type anything into my GPS...
Where are the tarffic Police when you need them.????.never around!!!!.. when you dont need them ...they are the ones crawling along on your bumper... had a thought ...maybe he was an off duty cop getting his jollies???? (that was my jekyl and Hyde coming ou)...gosh it must have been sooooo scary for you...
Amber:
Next time (providing you have no kids in the car), do the brake check but don't release. You have a Prado, so no problems handing the impact.
Chances are about 99% this tosser will not be wearing a seatbelt. So let him go through the windshield.
Seriously. Bollocks to all this, respect for life and respect for whatever and cultural tolerance: if it was on any other continent, this guy would be:
A: on a slab or
B: in traction from either
A: an accident or
B: getting the crap kicked out of him
JD has had the pleasure of hitting his brakes one afternoon and scaring the living daylights out of a hormone fueled individual.
He then flashed and gestured me to pull over to the side to "discuss" the situation.
What amuses me, is that most of these toe-rags are not capable of thinking things all the way through.
JD is military trained, and carries an ID card that puts the shits up all of those who lay eyes on it, and sheepish apologies are the order of the day.
Next time - nail the twat!
JD - I don't know...if he died, I might have to feel guilty. Also, I don't really want an airbag deployment..those things can burn your face off and I just don't think this creep is worth ruining my career (such that it is in Oman) over!
The whole thing was rather intense and I kept hoping that an ROP would see us and at least pull me over or something.
The prado could definitely take it...it is ugly anyway...a few bumps wouldn't change that...but at speed of 130, which was what we were going at the time of my brake check (and believe me, I was preparing myself for impact in case he didn't see it because he was driving too close!), it might leave more than a few bumps.
three cheers for the pharmacist :)
