what they've got that we don't...

In Doha they have a Macaroni Grill.

Yes, it's a chain. But it is superb and our favorite chain.

We have never lived in a city that had one in it...we always travelled. This could be very very bad.

I was just complaining that we didn't have "our diner" or an equivalent here. When we lived in New York we had this diner that we regularly patroned. They knew us. They knew our favorite booth. They knew what we would most likely order. It was our place...our diner.

I was just saying we needed one here in Muscat - our own place to eat and hang out.

Oh please oh please oh please, for my hips, stomache and thighs - DON'T let Macaroni Grill become our place when we are finally all living in Doha.

Oh no! That's hilarious!

I feel that way about Swiss Chalet, which was always one of my favorites back home.

Just try and make it an every other month special occasion thing. You'll be alright :)
