over eid - part 2 off-roading

We had our first REAL off roading experience while we were traipsing around Oman. It was super scary. We broke all of the rules of off-roading...don't go alone, have at least 2 vehicles, let people know where you are, have extra water, have an emergency kit. Yep...ALL the rules. And neither one of us had done it before. We felt idiotically inspired. There was this car...way way out there. And we just knew that if that tiny car could make it, then surely we could. Before I could completely process that thought David had already pulled off the road and we were exploring. I was gritting my teeth and tightening every muscle in my body....





But our little car got us there....



And we were rewarded with a truly cool and desolate beach...




Angelina found the biggest shell...it is bigger than her head.
